We join in mourning - the death of two police officers in Palm Springs over the weekend. "Police Officer Jose "Gil" Vega and Police Officer Lesley Zerebny, both of the Palm Springs Police Department, were killed in the line of duty while responding to a "family disturbance" call at a home. Officer Vega, who was married with eight children, had been with the Palm Springs Police Department for 35-years. Officer Zerebny had been with the department for four-and-a-half years and was the mother a four-month-old baby."
